World Research Map

A clearer map of global research

World Research Map is building indexing and discoverability infrastructure so scholarship can be found, cited, and connected across borders.

Our mission

Too much valuable research never enters the indexes, search tools, and citation
networks that shape global science. That is not only a regional problem — it is a
global knowledge problem.

We build systems that evaluate sources with published criteria, enrich metadata,
and open discovery paths for works that deserve to travel.

Global brand, regional depth

World Research Map is the global brand. Afropus
is our Africa-focused sister catalogue — the first regional map inside this worldwide effort.

What we stand for

Principles that keep indexing credible and useful.

Published criteria

Evaluation is transparent — not a black box.

Metadata that travels

Clean identifiers, affiliations, and abstracts make discovery possible.

Regional first maps

Start where coverage is weakest, then widen the atlas.
